The Leopard

3/29/1963; 185 minutes

During the 1860's, while American was fighting the Civil War Italy was going though a small scale battle of classes. The lineage and power of Fabrizio Corbero, Prince of Salina wanes, while the ex-peasant Don Calogero Sedara rises in power due to his amassed wealth. A marriage between the two families could unite these two classes.
