Strike

1/1/1961; 94 minutes

The workers in a Russian factory go on strike when one of their coworkers commits suicide. In a typical heat-wave to the awful conditions of Russian factories in this early period, and like the other Russian-factory strike film "Mother", this film ends on a tragic note and is more a call about injustice than anything else. (#12604)
