Madariaga is an Argentinian cattle baron with two daughters: one married a Frenchman, the other a German. Similar to Arthurian Legend of two brothers (Suite du Merlin) from Le Morte d'Arthur, the film deals with the two brothers-in-laws in opposing armies during WWI. (#13438)
