In honor of UC San Diego's 50th anniversary, UCSD-TV presents UCSD@50, a yearlong series highlighting the diverse and extraordinary work being done every day on this campus. Among the people and projects featured in this edition, hosted by Chancellor Marye Anne Fox, include UCSD's Center for Community Well-Being, a collaborative focused on improving the lives of school-age children in Southeastern San Diego; the groundbreaking brain studies at UCSD's Center of Autism Excellence; and a look at how the Scripps Institution of Oceanography is shaping the future of medicines and how scientists will monitor the health of our planet.
