The Magnetic Monster

2/18/1953; 75 minutes

The Office of Scientific Investigation (OSI) sends their A-Men (A for atom) agents to investigate reports of unusual magnetic activity in various communities. Their investigation leads to a scientist who's been experimenting with an artificial radioactive isotope. His microscopic creation takes on a life of its own, growing rapidly as it absorbs energy from its surroundings while emitting radiation and intense magnetic energy. Hilarity does not ensue. (USA / 1953 / B&W / Science Fiction / dir. Curt Siodmak / with Richard Carlson, King Donovan, Jean Bryron) (#35566)
