11/18/2024; 12 minutes

Astronauts feature powerful ONE EARTH MISSION - Unite with Music movie, with Maestro Seiji Ozawa, Saito Kinen Orchestra, and a dramatic Earth fly-over. In his last public performance (Nov 23, 2022) Maestro Seiji Ozawa conducts the Saito Kinen Orchestra (SKO) with Beethoven's Egmont Overture, as a historical first orchestra performance broadcast directly to the International Space Station (ISS). Maestro's subtle yet masterful conducting shows the depth and power of music in our souls. The dramatic Earth fly-over from Italy to the Red Sea was filmed by astronauts on the ISS. Maestro Ozawa passed away Feb 6, 2024. This movie is dedicated to his memory, with thanks for his deep commitment to Earth and music. A collaboration of Seiji Ozawa/SKOxJAXA ONE EARTH MISSION - Unite with Music Project and the Association of Space Explorers.
