Homelessness in Older Adults: An Emerging Crisis

People who are homeless use the most expensive parts of the healthcare system. Dr. Margot Kushel looks at older homeless adults and how the healthcare system can better care for them. Living on the street contributes to premature aging; many homeless people in their 50s have physical and cognitive disabilities more commonly seen in people in their 70s or 80s. (#32940)
