Scientists from Cornell's Laboratory of Ornithology and the University of Georgia's Warnell School of Forest Management present a spirited discussion about to the rediscovery of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker. Kenneth Rosenberg from Cornell discussed video evidence and sightings while his colleague, Russ Chariff talked about the acoustic research. Ron Rohrbaugh from Cornell then talked about the novel and adaptive survey techniques used in trying to document the rediscovery while Robert Cooper from the University of Georgia ended the session with a broader discussion of conservation within the context of the rediscovery of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker.
