Harold Shapiro is the President Emeritus of Princeton University and the University of Michigan and the only president to have been listed by Change magazine as one of the most influential university presidents in both the 1980s and the 1990s. He served as a member of President George Herbert Walker Bush's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology and was appointed by President Clinton to chair the National Bioethics Advisory Commission. The Clark Kerr Lecture Series provides an opportunity for leading scholars and practitioners to reflect on major higher education policy issues. (#7290)
