Robert Storr is Dean of the Yale School of Art. In 2007 he became the first American appointed as Commissioner of the Venice Biennale, and from 1990-2002 was curator of painting and sculpture at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He has also taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, the Bard Center for Curatorial Studies, and at New York University, and served as consulting curator of modern and contemporary art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
